Jamezie finished this chapter so quick that I didn’t even see the link he posted for it last week. I guess I was to busy with BTM.

Gekkoh chapter 13 released.

After 1 day in Lake Cerberus the horses gives out which pretty much leaves us crawling through this muck. While nearing the center of this mess, yeah thats what we call this lake now “the mess”. We find a shack, and in this shack a chapter of Birdy The Mighty . Jamezie turns and says, “Did you hear that?” My reply to that was, “what, did Reiko fart again?” GET DOWN! says milki in a high pitched voice.

I thought I should mention that this is Yuuki Masami’s third rendition of “Birdy The Mighty,” and is the most closely adapted version from the 1996 Birdy the Mighty OVA. It expands on the series starting from the begining then later continues on past were the OVA left off. You can check out Yume’s old site for downloads of one of the other versions. Masami first released BTM in Young Sunday in 1996 shortly after that a Madhouse Studios produced an OVA adaption of it. It seems the manga wasn’t well recieved (signs point to art being the cause). I think the OVA did pretty good because later that same year they released an anime comic version adapted from the OVA. In 2003 he started this third version which is now pretty popular. Earlier this week ANN & Animenation reported that Young Sunday Magazine has announced plans for a new anime based on this manga to be called “Birdy the Movement” a day after I started working on this chapter.
